Examine Iran accord

Frida Ghitis’ Dec. 6 column, Nuke deal presents acute dilemma for many Israelis, should be a welcome call to all Americans. I am old enough to remember the real and potential threat by the Soviet Union against the United States in 1962 and the movement of troops down U.S. 1 to the Keys. It took much wiser men than me to counter this threat by quick-witted diplomats.

Let’s look at the agreement of P5+1, which includes the United States, China, France, Great Britain, Russia, plus Germany, and be clear as to what was signed and what it will do. We don’t need another Munich with the phrase that has lived through the generations: “Peace in our time,” which led to the bloodiest war in the history of mankind!

  • Can’t blame LeBron

LeBron James knew he could not win a ring in Cleveland, so he brought his talents to South Beach. You can’t blame him for that. It was terrible for his hometown. He accomplished his dream and gave Miami and Florida a great ride.

  • Obama can’t win

Hundreds of children are voluntarily turning themselves in to the U.S. Border Patrol, at the Mexican border. They actively seek out the Border Patrol to turn themselves in. They present no violent threat that requires additional armed personnel to protect the Public Safety.

  • Where’s Israeli peace?
