Special to The Miami Herald

Sometimes a hard (carry-on) bag is good to find. Delsey has a winner with the Helium Aero 19-inch International Carry-On Expandable Trolley — a mouthful of a name. It’s loaded with useful features not common in most wheel-aboards. The 19-inch by 13-inch by 9.5-inch hard polycarbonate bag is tough but lightweight. It expands another 2 inches in depth via a mid-bag external zipper. A spacious front zippered compartment with a built-in padded sleeve and two big zippered mesh pockets, accordions open part way to keep files, a laptop, and accessories safely secured within the compartment. Or, snap out the Velcro-closure side panels to open fully for maximum access. The bag rolls on four 360-degree-rotation twin spinner wheels, has a recessed one-button locking pull-handle system, and provides both top and side padded carry handles. Use the convenient built-in TSA-compliant combination lock, or secure the dual zippers with your own little padlock the old-fashioned way.

Delsey Helium Aero 19-inch International Carry-On Expandable Trolley is about $150 at luggage stores and online.
