The style scene

Shoe designer Chloe Jade Green is fashion royalty

Safe to say, Chloe Jade Green knows how to put an outfit together.

The fashion heiress — daddy owns UK retailing giant Topshop — is accustomed to dressing well.

So yes, we’re psyched to see Green’s new shoe line, called simply CJG, launching in time to amp up the holiday wardrobe. The flirty collection features a mix of boots and sandals with charms, metallic leather and Swarovski crystals. Get ’em while they’re hot at, and We chatted.

What is your inspiration when you design shoes?

I’ve been obsessed with heels for as long as I can remember. My friends and family are my main source of inspiration — they’re always giving me advice on new styles that they’d love to wear but can’t find anywhere. Feedback from customers always [helps]. I have been lucky enough to have done a lot of traveling this year. I love to see how women in other countries translate trends and style.

Who are some of your favorite shoe designers?

Charlotte Olympia: The way she mixes bold prints and bright colors is really fun.

How high is too high? Or is this question N/A?

You can never go too high — as long as you’re comfortable and can still walk in them!

How many pairs do you own?

I honestly don’t know. I do have a regular sort-out and donate as many as I can to charity.

What trends should we look out for?

This Christmas it’s all about nude and black shades.

What spots do visit when you are in Miami?

Where should I start? I love Soho Beach House; Zuma is another of my faves. Villa Azur has such a great buzz.

Do you have any style tips?

Try and edit your wardrobe so that you can see everything in it without rummaging. Invest in fun accessories that will easily update your look. I love to team a chunky statement necklace with a plain tee. So effortless.
