South Beach adult store Pleasure Emporium damaged in fire

A fire at the Miami Beach adult store Pleasure Emporium early Wednesday morning appeared to have been sparked by an electrical problem, according to a spokesman for Miami Beach Fire Rescue.

There were no injuries.

Firefighters received a call at 6:23 a.m. and extinguished the blaze, in the space between a newer dropped ceiling and the original ceiling, shortly after 7 a.m.

There was water and some smoke damage to the South Beach store, 1019 Fifth St.
