Miami-Dade Animal Services is looking for the owners of a disabled male Schnauzer found by a Good Samaritan in the northwest area of Miami- Dade.
The gray canine, believed to be about 7, is not just a dog. He is paralyzed in the hind legs and gets around with the use of a wheelchair-like apparatus.
So on Tuesday, the department issued an unusual plea to find the dogs owner, issuing a news release to the local media.
Dubbed Huggies by animal services workers because, well, he wears diapers, the dog has been checked out by the veterinary staff and is deemed to be in fair condition; however, Huggies does need special care because of his condition.
