As a physician I believe that healthcare is a human right. It is ironic that the people who opposed Obamacare are now condemning it for not being functional. The main problem with this program is the architects. The people who designed it are not physicians in private practice.
Physicians are essentially small business owners and should not have to increase the level of bureaucracy to function. We need our input to be taken into consideration.
I put my patients first. It’s unfortunate that the government doesn’t, because at the end of the day, medicine is about life, not business.
