Commissioners owe us explanation

Re Patricia Mazzei’s Nov. 8 article, Meeting called off when few show up: Nine of 13 commissioners did not attend a Miami-Dade County Commission meeting. Therefore, the meeting was canceled. Those who were absent probably shouldn’t be commissioners if they can’t attend a meeting.

Is there any accountability for their job performance? Where is the commitment to the voters who placed them in that position? Will we, the voters, demand explanations or sanctions?
