Boil water order lifted for Bal Harbour

A boil water order for the village of Bal Harbour was lifted Sunday after the water system tested clear.

The boil water order was issued after a main broke around 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the 10200 block of Collins Avenue.

Residents had been asked not drink from the tap without boiling it.

Testing done over the weekend showed the water was free of contaminants for two consecutive days.
