Reagan topples Hialeah Gardens

Special to the Miami Herald

Multiple mistakes along with the inability to move the ball kept the Gladiators (0-8, 0-5 District 13-8A) winless as they fell 35-0 to the Bison (4-5, 2-3) on Friday night.

Two of the biggest miscues resulted in Reagan touchdowns: a 20-yard punt block returned by Francisco Barnes and a 50-yard interception return by Shawn Curtis.

Reagan quarterback Tyler Ibarra ran for a 55-yard touchdown in the first quarter to start the scoring. He also ran for another touchdown in the third quarter.

Fullback Andres Arroliga scored from 5 yards out in the fourth quarter to finish the scoring.
