Hackathon to focus on immigration solutions


Americas Datafest, a multi-city immigration hackathon being held in 20 cities across 12 countries, is coming to South Florida on Saturday.

At the free hackathon, which is sponosred by Univision Noticias and will be held in Fusion’s Newsport and later at Venture Hive, technologists and entrepreneurs will focus on migration in Latin America and will be building apps, websites and other tools for migrants and nonprofits that study human migration in the Americas.
