Report: Dolphins' Pouncey served grand jury subpoena in Aaron Hernandez case

The Sports Network

Massachusetts State Police served Dolphins center Mike Pouncey with a grand jury subpoena on Sunday following Miami's 27-17 loss to the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, according to a report.

The subpoena is related to an investigation involving Aaron Hernandez and his potential involvement in gun trafficking, according to Sports Illustrated.

Pouncey, who is a close friend and former college teammate of Hernandez at Florida, has not been charged with a crime.

Mike and his twin brother Maurkice of the Pittsburgh Steelers were at the center of controversy when they were photographed during the offseason with hats that said "Free Hernandez."
