McGowan, Rolle lead Hallandale to key victory vs. Stranahan

Hallandale (8-1, 5-1 15-6A) defeated Stranahan (3-5, 3-3) at home in a crucial district contest on Friday evening.

The Dragons got out to a quick 14-0 lead behind two first-half touchdown passes by freshman quarterback Eugene Davis.

The Chargers offense was led by the backfield tandem of Taj McGowan and Treyvon Rolle, who combined for 201 yards on the ground and all three Hallandale touchdowns.

Sophomore cornerback Jaelyn Faulk sealed the win for Hallandale by intercepting a pass in the end zone with two minutes remaining in the game.
