Arkeem Granger key in American’s win over Mourning

American’s Arkeem Granger ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and Patriots quarterback Ed Crouch threw for two touchdown passes and ran for another as the Patriots (5-0, 5-3 District 16-7A) picked up the win against the Sharks (1-4, 3-5) on Friday.

American was too much for

freshman quarterback Eddie Brill to handle in his first start as the Sharks were shut out.

He completed 2 of 9 passes for 13 yards and was intercepted once.

A second-quarter sack took Brill out of the game with a leg injury, but he said he was OK after the game.
