TALLAHASSEE -- No. 3 Florida State (6-0, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) will be without junior running back James Wilder Jr. when it hosts North Carolina State (3-3, 0-3) on Saturday. Wilder left last Saturday’s win over Clemson with a concussion.
“He was close. He was very close,” FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said.
• Despite the excitement over former coach Bobby Bowden’s return this weekend, Fisher is instructing his team to block it out as much as possible.
“You’ve got to block it out and coach the game and play the game,” Fisher said.
