Shame we can’t dissolve Congress

For most of my 84 years I’ve genuinely believed that our two-party system was the ideal way for a republic to run. It gave individuals of varying beliefs a choice between two large entities so that neither entity could hope to long govern without moving toward the middle in order to attract enough voters. Right now the parliamentary system is starting to look a lot better. Just think of the joy of being able to dissolve Congress and call for a new election without having to wait for November 2014 to roll around.
