Northeast cruises past Chaminade-Madonna

Chaminade-Madonna (0-6) scored the first touchdown and took a 7-0 lead, but Northeast’s Brion Sanchious stepped in at quarterback and threw for 145 yards and accounted for four total touchdowns as the Hurricanes (2-5) stormed past the Lions 25-7 on Friday night.

    Surging Boyd Anderson tuned up for the BCAA Track and Field championships next week by capturing the Disney Track and Field Showcase boys’ title at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee on Saturday. The Cobras clinched the title 55-51 over Stephenson by winning the 1,600 meter relay in 3:23.12.
