Hope For Autism soccer
The Hope For Autism Soccer and Sports Conditioning Team was invited to perform an exhibition during the Florida Soccer Expo at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens.
The kids were treated to a special private performance by John Fredy Moncado of Extreme Xoccer. They also met Cody Laurendi of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers who tweeted, “[It was] the best part of my day!”
The boys rode to Sun Life Stadium in style in a Hummer limousine, thanks to the generosity of Limos of Miami.
“I am so proud of our boys, and everyone treated them like rock stars,” said Team Founder/Coach Oscar Amuz.
The team is open to young people age 4-14, including children with any special needs and their siblings.
The program is affiliated with the newly formed Hope For Autism United For Soccer Foundation ( www.autismsoccer.org). The goal is to help children and teens with autism to gain coordination, social skills, self-confidence and team work through soccer.

• The Hope For Autism soccer team thanks the Palm Springs North Athletic Association and Danny Larkin, manager of the Norman and Jean Reach Park for their continued support.
