As the countdown to Armageddon continues, a proposal by the House to require the executive and legislative branches to purchase health care through the Affordable Care Act exchanges shows signs of promise.
Apparently the members of the people’s House haven’t figured out that their proposal is no different than voting themselves a pay cut. If they truly believe in pay for performance, it would be the first legitimate bill to reach the floor in a very long time. They would simply buy platinum policies which would not only take the taxpayers off the hook, but would also be well within their budget.
The Senate should waste no time and pass the House bill.
