Think pink at Giardino, Biscayne Tavern

 

Giardino Gourmet, with eight South Florida locations, is giving away tastes of pink ambrosia salad to participants in Saturday’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Miami. Through Oct. 31, the chain will donate 10 percent of proceeds from sale of the salad, made with low-fat strawberry yogurt, to the Komen fund; giardinosalads.com.

Biscayne Tavern,146 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, is donating $1 for each $6 order of chocolate chip or pink cookies and milk sold through Oct. 31 to the Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation; 305-307-8300.
