Seafood events in Grove, Keys, South Beach

 

The Coconut Grove Seafood Festival promises a cornucopia of prepared fish and shellfish plus a Grove Wharf seafood market from 11 a.m. to sundown Sunday at Peacock Park, 2820 McFarlane Rd., Coconut Grove. Tickets are $15 at coconutgroveseafoodfestival.com, $25 at the gate, with kids 12 and younger free.

The Upper Keys’ third annual amateur Stone Crab Eating Contest takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Keys Fisheries Market and Marina, at 35th Street, gulf side, Marathon. Contestants must be 18 or older and register by noon. The entry fee is $25; keysfisheries.com.

The inaugural South Beach Seafood Festival takes place Saturday at Lummus Park. Tickets are $25; sobeseafoodfest.com, 305-255-3500 .
