Governors are now choosing not to fund federal programs affected by the shutdown with state funds.
They seem to find it totally feasible to allow blind services, vocational rehabilitation, temporary assistance for needy families and other organizations important to American citizens to be cut.
People are unable to work and care for their families; not to mention those individuals working paycheck to paycheck.
The shutdown is a detriment to a lot of American citizens, their lives, their families, and well-being.
Gov. Rick Scott, instead of trying to save Florida money, should work on helping those in need.
