An Orlando lawfirm will be joing the Becker & Poliakoff fold.
Orlando’s Taylor & Carls is set to become part of the Fort Lauderdale-based firm on Dec. 1. Taylor & Carls will lose its name and become a part of the larger firm, with employees relocating to Becker & Poliakoff’s Orlando office, according to a press release.
Becker & Poliakoff employs about 170 lawyers and lobbyists throughout 20 offices in the United States and abroad. Taylor & Carls specializes in representing community associations, and has offices in Orlando, Tampa and Palm Coast. Its website lists 13 lawyers.
“This is an outstanding opportunity to enhance our position in the important Central Florida market, and it represents a springboard for growth into new markets including Northeast Florida,’’ said Gary Rosen, managing shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff.
