It seems that not a day goes by without another story about Medicare fraud.
Our government agencies seem to be endlessly chasing an ever-expanding cast of crooks.
Why not require every Medicare contractor, large or small, to post an advance surety bond equal to their annual billings?
In that way, the insurance companies issuing the bonds will certainly investigate the backgrounds, finances and corporate structures of their applicants.
Those are duties that our bureaucrats seem to have failed at, with staggering financial consequences.
