The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts has named a new chief financial officer, the center announced Wednesday. Thomas M. Berger, who has worked in similar positions at several museums, starts his new job as CFO and vice president of finance and administration this week.
Most recently, Berger was executive vice president and CFO of the National Children’s Museum in Maryland. He also held top financial positions at the Museum of Science in Boston, Henry Ford Museum in Michigan and Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
He replaces John Burnett, who was named vice president and CFO of The Smith Center, a performing arts center in Las Vegas, this summer.
