Having a large family didn’t stop Hannah Helsabeck’s mother from stocking her Fort Lauderdale home with organic and natural ingredients, long before it was the in thing to do. Inspired by mom, Helsabeck (right) did her own share of research about pesticides, plastics and other toxins found in everyday foods and products, leading her to launch an online store in 2011. WildMintShop.com, run out of Fort Lauderdale, helps customers find organic, natural and toxin-free products—including ones for your beauty bag. Admitting it can take time to transition completely to a natural lifestyle, she adds that she is “not yet 100 percent on the natural bandwagon.
