Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management offers one of the nation’s top training programs for restaurant professionals, and now home cooks can get in on the action at the school’s Biscayne Bay Campus, 3000 NE 151st St., North Miami.

FIU’s Culinary Experiences program kicks off a series of 6-9 p.m. weeknight classes on Oct. 23 with chef Judith Williams’ “Easy Dinners for Busy People” for $79.
