School bus crash in Davie sends two students to hospital

 

Two students were hospitalized Monday afternoon when their school bus was involved in a collision with a pick-up truck in Davie.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. when the Broward County Public Schools bus was rear-ended by the truck on the 3900 block of Davie Road.

Besides two of the 28 children onboard the bus, both drivers were also transported to area hospitals.

All suffered minor injuries.

It’s unknown what schools the students on the bus attended.

The accident impacted afternoon rush hour traffic in the area.
