Missing teeth on Keys motel nightstand a clue to fight

The loose teeth on the nightstand gave it away.

Florida Keys deputies were trying to solve a mystery: Who punched out a Stuart man?

When deputies saw the teeth and questioned a group of young men inside a motel room, they admitted to a fight.

The victim told deputies that he was staying in a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Marathon when he was attacked by one of his friends. He had a bloody eye and was missing teeth, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Taylor Harrison 21, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.

Doctors treating the victim said he was punched 5 to 10 times and suffered a broken orbital socket.
