In the midst of launching a promotional campaign for its new lower-fat and lower-calorie French fries, Burger King Worldwide started calling itself FRIES KING on Thursday.
The Miami company announced in a press release that it would be changing its name to FRIES KING “for a limited time only” in celebration of its new crinkle-cut SATISFRIES. Burger King said the fries have 40 percent less fat and 30 percent fewer calories than McDonald’s leading French fries.
The new moniker is being used at Burger King restaurants in Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago. Additionally, Burger King said its website and social media channels have all begun using the the FRIES KING logo.
