Broward man found passed out in someone else’s van in the Keys

A Fort Lauderdale handyman was arrested after allegedly being caught sleeping in another man’s delivery van outside a Key Largo coin laundry.

The owner of the van, opened it 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning to find John Miller, 50, sleeping inside next to the remains of a 12-pack of Budweiser, according to the arrest report.

After the rude awakening, Miller got out of the van. Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies later found him across the street sitting on a picnic table.

Miller, who admitted to sleeping in the van, was charged with vehicle burglary, according to the arrest report.
