Re the Sept. 15 article Faces never forgotten: I knew Lee Rosenwasser. His older sister Irene and I were friends in high school. We even went out a few times. Two things I remember most about him. When I drove over to his home in North Miami Beach on my motor scooter, Lee, who was 14 at the time, would ride it in circles on their driveway. He was just a kid. That was the last time I ever saw him.
At my 1972 high school reunion, I learned that he had died in Vietnam. In 1982, I was living in Washington D.C., and went to the newly opened Vietnam War Memorial where I found his name among the 58,000. I could not stop crying. For me he remains 14.
