Gov. Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bondi demonstrate such concern for the privacy of Floridians who seek help from the federally trained navigators for affordable healthcare.
Yet when any of us visits the typical doctor’s office, the first thing the receptionist does is hand us a clipboard with forms to fill out, generally requiring our Social Security numbers, family histories and all other manner of personal data. This information is handled loosely by any number of employees.
Our governor and Ms. Bondi seem not in the least disturbed about that. Additionally lost in their focus on our privacy is any concern for the million-plus uninsured Floridians.
I look forward to again being "Scott free."
