2 people shot during home invasion



Two people were shot outside their home when a group of people tried to rob them Saturday afternoon.

The shooting happened at 1 p.m. at a home on the 4800 block of Northwest 29th Avenue, Miami-Dade Police detective Alvaro Zabaleta said.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital where they remained in stable condition Saturday evening.

Police don’t know how many people were involved in the shooting and robbery attempt, Zabaleta said.

No arrests have been made.
