Readon, La Salle rout Ransom

 

Emmanuel Readon returned two punts for touchdowns as La Salle (5-0) cruised past Ransom Everglades 64-7 on Thursday. Joey McCain threw two touchdown passes and rushed for over 100 yards. Noel Brown and Josten Borgella each ran for a touchdown while Leonn Rechourse added an interception return for a score.

Volleyball

The Miami High girls’ volleyball team continued its hot start to the season with a 22-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-17 win over Miami Springs.

Kristen Valdes led the Stingarees (9-1) behind her 21 assists, four digs and three kill performance. Raven Bygrave added eight kills, five blocks, two digs and two aces while Beatrice Mompremier registered 13 kills and five blocks.
