Re the Sept. 19 story WLRN apologizes and re-invites Cuba book author: What a welcome decision. WLRN re-invited Stephen Kimber, whose book criticizes the Miami trial of five Cuban spies, to be interviewed.

The initial interview was cancelled because the book was deemed “incendiary,” offensive to some in the Cuban community.

One of my cherished rights in this country is being able to listen to different viewpoints and make up my mind about an issue. No individual or group should interfere with that freedom. Isn’t that one reason why we came here and appreciate living in a free country?

As LeBron leaves, keep it classy Miami

Alright, so James is leaving. We will survive, really. We will miss him for sure.

  • Thanks, LeBron

Downtown Miami’s resurgence was well under way before The Big 3 arrived, gained momentum alongside four consecutive championship runs and won’t be slowing down anytime soon.

  • Missing him LeBron

Although devastated by his decision to leave us, I am immensely grateful to LeBron James for what he gave us: the best four years the Miami sports scene has ever experienced.
