Tickets remain for Beard dinner

The $400 “all-star” tickets are gone, but you can still score a $250 VIP package (cocktail reception and preferred seating) or $200 general admission for the James Beard Foundation’s Culinary Masters’ Dinner Friday evening at the Ancient Spanish Monastery, 16711 W. Dixie Hwy., North Miami Beach.

The roster of culinary talent includes South Florida’s James Beard Award-winning Norman Van Aken, Allen Susser and Michael Schwartz as well as Food Network host Ted Allen.

The event benefits the Beard Foundation and World Central Kitchen, a charity founded by chef José Andrés.
