Undoubtedly chemical weapons are terrible and inhumane — not that any type of bomb or artillery shell is less deadly. But chemical weapons are especially egregious.
I saw the deadly chemical napalm used in Vietnam. Walking through the drop zone of a napalm attack will put some memories in your brain that never leave. The sight and smell of burned human flesh has never left me.
I guess that since American jets dropped napalm on women and children that I saw burned to death, they were targeted because they were the bad guys.
Americans have become too self-righteous in thinking we have the right or obligation to bomb Syria for the use of poisonous gas. We have no moral right or obligation to stick our noses, or our missiles, into that country’s civil war.
