Girl’s Night Out, UM cooking classes, Boston Market opening


Shops at Sunset Place, 5701 Sunset Dr., South Miami, hosts a Girl’s Night Out promotion from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday with free snacks and sips (of Diet Coke), style advice and a goodie bag for the first 200 women to arrive;

Boston Market opened its first new restaurant in seven years this week at 1001 W. 49th St., Hialeah. Grand-opening festivities are planned for Oct. 11;
