Why were so many of the magnificent trees along Brickell Avenue cut down on Sept. 5? Were these trees diseased? Were they endangering anyone or anything? There are signs on the remaining trees that a total of 75 are to be eliminated. And there is a rumor that a jogging path will replace the trees. If these possibilities are true, who approved everything?
Brickell Avenue is one of the few still naturally beautiful areas in Miami, thanks in great part to the trees. I am appalled that these trees were removed and would appreciate an explanation.
