We know better, but we’re always surprised in October to find that Oktoberfest is almost over. Considered the biggest beer fest in the world, last year’s extravaganza drew just under 6.5 million visitors who drank more than 14.5 million pints of beer. And while some of the beer tents can accommodate 10,000 people, organizers warn visitors to come early because some fill to capacity before noon. The party starts on Sept. 21 and runs through Oct. 6
