Westminster Christian takes down Archbishop Caroll

The Westminster Christian girls’ volleyball team shut down the Archbishop Caroll Bulldogs on Wednesday night in three consecutive sets 25-4, 25-7, 25-13.

The warriors were led by Kelsey Taylor who scored 28 points, 11 digs, 10 assists and three kills. Taylor was assisted by Sylvia Hernandez who picked up 9 kills, 11 digs and seven points. Jenny Ceballos registered 6 kills, 11 assists and 11 digs and teammate Susie Forbes took home 18 points, 7 aces and 8 digs.

Westminster advances with a record of 2-0 to its third game of the season against Evangelical Christian on Friday.

Christina Berndt 20 points, 10 digs, 3 kills. Nicole Fontela 16 digs, 13 points, 7 aces. Veronica Gomez 5 points, 9 kills, 16 assists. (CHR 3-3).
