TNA Wes Brisco, Mike Knox of Aces & Eights on The Roman Show

Devon Dudley is more than just a professional wrestler for TNA Impact wrestlers, especially Aces & Eights members Wes Brisco and Mike Knox.

For Brisco and Knox, the recent departure of Devon Dudley has been tough.

“He will be missed,” Knox said. “Not to be untough, I shed tears. He helped me on the road. He taught me how to be a pro.”

Brisco and Knox spoke to The Roman Show exclusively during the Legends of Wrestling Night in conjunction with the Miami Marlins/Colorado Rockies baseball game at Marlins Park.

For Brisco, Devon was a motivator.

“He meant so much to me,” he said. “He was the person that would pick me up. I have nothing but respect for him.”

Knox said Devon was a “father figure on the road.”

Both discussed the current state of TNA and decisions made by the company.

“We can’t control that. We like some decision, or you hate some decisions,” Knox said. “The are making great strides, too.”

Both also discussed facial hair in professional wrestling, wrestling legends and mixed martial artists coming to TNA.
