Royal Caribbean International is sending a second ship to Tampa for the winter season that starts in mid-November 2014.
Brilliance of the Seas was already scheduled to take four- and five-night trips from the Port of Tampa this winter and next. It will be joined net year by the 2,000-passenger Vision of the Seas, which will sail seven-night itineraries. All cruises will be to the Western Caribbean.
Currently sailing in Europe, Vision of the Seas will be in Panama this winter and Port Everglades next summer before heading to Tampa.
Miami-based Royal Caribbean has based a ship in Tampa for the winter cruising season since January of 2002. Starting next year, the port will host a record six cruise ships.
