Brutus The Barber Beefcake on The Roman Show

Brutus The Barber Beefcake announced he just got married and celebrated his honeymoon wrestling in Miami.

In an interview with The Roman Show, Beefcake introduced Melissa, who he married in Tampa over the weekend.

“I met him when I was 17-years-old,” she said. “It’s a dream.”

Beefcake was part of the Legends of Wrestling event at Marlins Park, during the Miami Marlins vs Colorado Rockies game on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Beefcake said they spent their honeymoon in Miami watching the Marlins game.

The Tampa-based wrestler explains why he loves playing the character Brutus the Barber Beefcake and why he had to do other gimmicks when he worked for WCW.

“When I was in WCW, there was a trademark issue,” he said. “They had to get a little creative.”

He also spoke about his relationship with Hulk Hogan.

“We grew up in the same neighborhood,” he said. “We grew up together. We’ve been friends.”

He added: “There hasn’t been much setbacks. We are always friends.”

Beefcake also said he is in shape and works out five times a week.

“No yoga,” he said. “It works for twigs. It doesn’t work for oaks.”

Sorry DDP.

He also discusses the WWE Hall of Fame and says he is not afraid to wrestle anyone.
