South Florida is famous for its inconsiderate drivers. Motorists ignore the basic driving tenet that says on any road or highway with two or more travel lanes in the same direction, slower traffic should keep right.
This principle has absolutely nothing to do with the speed limit. Motorists seem to think that it is their God-given right to travel in the left lane if they are traveling at the speed limit.
Please, hang up the phone, put two hands on the wheel, use your mirrors and remember — if you can be passed on the right, you are in the wrong lane. If everyone follows this simple rule, we can all have a pleasant drive, and road rage will be a thing of the past.
