I believe that once sex offenders have paid for their crimes, just like other criminals, they should be allowed to return to society. When will it be possible for them to find a place in this city that is not within 2,500 feet of a school or anywhere children might congregate? If they paid for their crimes and did their time and the system set them free, let them be. Sex offenders have families, too! Go and see the movie The Hunt, and see how the life of an innocent man can be destroyed by a child’s lie. After all, we allow some sex crimes committed by priests to go unpunished. Isn’t this a double standard?
