Receivers running low for Florida State Seminoles

Miami Herald Writer

Senior wide receiver Jarred Haggins could miss the entire season with a stress fracture in his kneecap, the school announced Wednesday.

FSU has now lost four receivers since the spring, including seniors Greg Dent and Willie Haulstead and freshman Marvin Bracy .

As a result seniors Rashad Greene and Kenny Shaw and redshirt sophomore Kelvin Benjamin wore green limited-contact jerseys at Wednesday’s scrimmage.

“We’ve got three guys that have just been working their tails off,” coach Jimbo Fisher said. “[If] we go out and take a shot, it changes the entire complexion of our team.”

Florida State was off Thursday but will have two practices Friday.
