Two in custody for throwing Molotov cocktail into Miami home


Two men were arrested Wednesday night accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail into a Miami home and sparking a fire, police said.

Miami police are investigating the incident which took place at about 6 p.m. at 1223 NW 37th St.

A witness to the attack, which sparked a fire that seriously damaged a section of the home, gave arriving police a description of the suspects who she said ran after throwing the fire bomb.

Two men that fit the description were taken into custody. The suspects are being interviewed and police have not released their names.

Charges against the men are pending.

The motive is unclear.
