FIU football adds running back, loses another

Junior college transfer running back Talir Satterfield-Rowe joined the team Saturday. Rowe, who is 5-10 and 195 pounds, ran for 300 yards and a touchdown on 75 carries for LA Pierce College in 2012.

Freshman walk-on running back Eric Moate, a Tampa Spoto High graduate who ran for over 1,000 yards as a high school junior, quit the team.

Receiver set

On a team fat with wide receivers, the two getting the first team snaps each practice are redshirt sophomores T.J. Lowder (speed) and 6-4 Dominique Rhymes (size). In formations involving a slot receiver, sophomore DeAndre Jasper has been getting a long look.
