Florida State Seminoles freshman Jeremy Kerr injured

Miami Herald Writer

Florida State freshman tight end Jeremy Kerr was diagnosed with a knee injury that will require surgery and keep him out for a couple months.

“No ACL, nothing like that,” coach Jimbo Fisher said. “It may be a little while, though, it looks like a pretty decent cartilage tear.”

Another newcomer, freshman offensive lineman Ira Denson, sprained a shoulder Wednesday and is day-to-day.

Haulstead Out

Senior wide receiver Willie Haulstead’s career is over after he was ruled academically ineligible heading into the fall semester.
